I suffer from severe attacks of Diverticulitis, each time it starts with severe pain followed by a high temperature. I take Synermox and Metronisdazole and it usually takes three doses before and temp subsides and the pain begins to ease. I would like some information on what type of diet I need to follow to help eliminate these attacks. I understand that a high fiber diet is adviseable but I would like to know what foods are allowed and what foods to avoid.
