I have had three DVT in my left leg in Oct. 98. Was treated and have been off my blood thinner for some time. I had back surgery again in Sep. 2000 to correct the origianl problem that casued the clots. My left leg is swelling agian and I'm getting really severe cramps in my calf at night. Are the signs for recurrent DVT the same as the first time or can it be differn't. I think my doctor just thinks I'm scared and over reacting. Not sure what to do. I wish he would do a doppler it would make me feel better knowing.
