this is for joe p.--you are making me nervous--i just had c45,and c56 fusion a few weeks ago..how long after your initial surgery did your surgeon discover the collapse?? did you ask the surgeon how common this was? what type of fusion did you have (i had titanium plate with bone bank graft and wore hard collar for only 1 week).do you smoke (this hurts the fusion rate)? I am sorry if I am asking alot of questions but I had to have this surgery because of the pain and a left arm neuro deficit. now I am wondering what the future brings with this surgery. I look forward to hearing from you.
