                        How does triose phosphate isomerase deficiency biochemically impaire body functions? I understand that deficiency of this enzyme leads to accumulation of Dihydroxyacetone phosphate, which cannot be converted to Glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate in Glycolysis. But what then happens to this accumulated Dihydroxyacetone phosphate?
