I have had this problem for years. The allergyst called it"Mast Cell Uticaria". There are a lot of people with this condition.It came about the time I started with my divorce, so I always related it to stress. I had been on several medications daily for years. Seldane was one of them until a smarter doctor put me on clariton. However the condiion changed one day when I went on Atkins diet for weight loss.The problem went away completly. However, the doctors are quick to say it must be something you were eating. But I think, Atkin's diet chnages the relationship of insulin production and perhaps it just adjusted something and it went away. Who knows for sure what changes to you body chemistry happens when you change your diet in a drastic way as in Atkins. Now I have been trying sugar busters diet which lets you go back to stone ground whole wheat bread, real butter, nothing hydrogenated. even extra virgin olive oil, no white potatoes, yes to sweet potatoes and yams,Perhaps you may want to try Atkins for a while to get chemistry change in your body. Afterall, it's all good food, and you don't have to eat humongus steaks, but eat with meat, salad's with vinegar and pure olive oil, broccoli and other green vegetables of low glycemic value.
