Hi Jenny...I am 43 years old and was diagnosed 1 year ago. I am still learning myself, but have read a lot. The greatest help I have found to date is taking Chondroitin (400mg) and Glucosamine (500mg) 3 times a day. You can by it in combination and it does seem to help with the pain. I also have changed my exercise routine from aerobics and weight training to water aerobics and Therapy Ball training. The ball is an amazingly good workout...believe it or not.
