My son is fifteen and has OI. At age five he had a bad break and they wanted to put him to sleep to set it. We were told that people with OI have a greater chance of developing hypotermia during surgery. He is now looking at having surgery to repair a torn muscle. The doctor now says he has never heard of hypotermia being linked to this diease. I would like to know if anyone has heard of this. Thanks
