When I was in my thirties, I suffered from hypoglycemia. The doctor told me to cut back on sugar. That was all. Like you I knew nothing about what I was facing. Hypoglycemia is a precurser (warning shot accross the bow) of diabetes. If you take action now with controlling your weight and diet, you can avoid what two million others suffer. Four years ago during a serious illness, I was diagnosed as a Diabetic (type II -- or adult onset). I also have a heart condition, am overweight, suffer occasional blury vision and constant numbness in my feet and fingers (both are forms of nerve damage). If I cannot control the numbness (circulation problems accompany this) my feet could be amputated, etc. Take this hypoglycemic bout very seriously to preserve your health. Like stairs, you are on the lower rung of a ladder to serious illness and problems you won't want to deal with.
