hello, i am a 35 year old male, recentley quit drinking, 4 months ago, lost 20lbs in the process and had a blood pressure reading of 160/100 taken by the nurse last week. Doctor took it again ten minutes later and it was 135/90 which is what it was last year. I am the son of owners of a furniture store, who both want to retire. Stress is very high, and sleep on avg 4-6 hours a nite. Do exercise, but not a lot of cardio work. Diet consist of alot of protein, eat small meals during the day, a large one at nite. My 2 kids(3 and 1) are my only REAL source of peace, happiness and relaxation. Any advice on lower bp? I am thinking more cardio work, less protein, more sleep. if possible could do the trick. Thanks.
