My daughter has been diagnosed with Piriformis Syndrome. She has had this ailment for a year. She went on temporary medical leave from her job in November of last year. In May, the disability ran out. She has filed for permanent disability. Basically, her life has come to a stand still. She has had 5 different doctors. She has had the steroid shots. They did not do anything for her. Therapy helps some, but hasn't stopped the pain. She has taken so much pain medicine and that worries me. She is thinking surgery now. Have you had surgery or know of anyone that did? Did it help? Were you able to work? What kind of work do you do? Her job required sitting all day. She can't do that. She lays most of the time. She has had to move back home. We are seeking any advice. Thank you.
