My 85 year old mother recently had an episode in which she drank a bowl of soup and soon afterwards began to have uncontrolled "foaming" from the mouth-there was lots of saliva, enough to take gobs of napkins and even then, have her clothing soaked. It lasted about 15 minutes. This is the only incident-what happened?
