                        The warning against red grapes puzzles me.  I've been eating them regularly since they came into season, and without a gout attack.  Maybe certain varieties of red grapes will bring on an attack?  Anybody savvy about this?  I firmly agree about meat.  The last two attacks, 10 months ago and 5 months ago both followed a dinner of medium rare beef.  I haven't had any in 5 months and haven't had an attack.  I love cheeries and will continue to eat them.  If they're helping, fine.  If not, I love them anyway.
