After bleeding for 65 days straight I finally called my Dr. He prescribed a double dose of BCP. I stopped bleeding for two days, so he put me on progesterone for 10 days. I experienced very heavy bleeding for the entire time and continued to bleed for another five days. I stopped for 11 days and started again. A D& C was performed and today I received the results: "mild complex endometrial hyperplasia". I am going to try the hormone treatment for 3 months and have another biopsy. My question is how many women have seen a positive response to hormonal treatment and avoided a hysterectomy? Am I wasting my time with this or should I just plan on a hyster?
