I wanted to add that you need to consult with your doctor about getting pelvic floor therapy with a physical therapist who knows about IC-not just incontinence-which is the opposite of what IC is. You sound to me like you have tight pelvic floor muscles. They can make your bladder spasm and it won't matter if you follow a IC diet because it will spasm anyway. Since you get worse as the day goes on I feel like it is the Pelvic floor-Is it also better when you lie down or use heat (heating pad). Heating pads are at Walmart in the pharmacy. Microwaveable and really nice. They help tremendously if you have pelvic floor problems. I had to find all this out on my own because urologists I went to did not even mention it. I went to a pelvic floor specialist who immediately found the pain and it was not coming from my bladder like all the other had said (5 of them). They are mostly , well I hate to say this but STUPID about women's Pee pees. They have no clue -so find a uro/gyn or a gyn who knows IC. Write to ichelp.org and ask for someone in your area. You may have to travel but it would be well worth it and if you have insurance they will pay for most of it. any ?'s feel free to write me
