I to had shoulder pain that came from nowhere althhough I do fall frequently because of parkinsons and it may have been caused by a fall. After seeing many DR's and rulling out things like Bursidis, etc. it was attributed to a pinched nerve. After a month or more of terrible pain (it felt amoung other things like my arm was going to fall out of its "socket") and Pills. pills, pills for pain, muscle spassam,etc. it finally went away. That was about four months ago and so far so good. I do feel a "twinge" now and then but no real pain like before. Good luck. h
