I had a stroke three months ago and was placed on cumadin. I am a Military Vet and get treatment at Vet hospital..used to go to a regular doctor..and can say the trteatment I now get seems much better...They assign me to an anticugulant team which checks my blood twice a month and gives advice as to what I can or not take, or eat..the only "pain pill" which they recommend is tylenol..all others will affect the way your cumadin dosage performs. You might ask your doctor for a copy of a booklet which the cumadin manufacturer supplies for free...If Ican be of any other help..e-mail me direct .. good luck to you..I take a 5 pill daily except for 2 1/2 on monday and friday. good health to you...Dell in Atlanta
