The exact same thing happened to my daughter when she was 13. They found a long QT on EKG. She had to stop sports. We took her to a pediatric cardiologist and they did an echo and stress test and said she was fine. I can understand your worry because I wonder why one said she had it and the other didn't. The pediatric cardiologist was from the Phila. Children's Hospital and specialized in this diagnosis. She said my daughter could resume all activities. She is now 17 and has been playing sports. It upsets me because she sometimes complains of "chest pain" however we have been able to attribute to more of a muscle pain than in the heart. I would like her checked again, but my husband thinks I am neurotic. Also. cardiac myopathy runs in my family. The echo ruled it out in my daughter but I still worry. Let me know if you find anything else out. Good luck. Jan
