I have a four year old that was born with hydrocephalus and he is normal in every way. I would like to hear from anyone else who has been told from their doctor that they don't need a shunt any longer. Where can I find out more information about the new surgery that is in Canada where they can take out the shunt. I beleive that they would leave my sons in but I'm curious about the new procedure. Again is their anyone that was told that they may not need their shunt? Kathy
