I have heard that there is a pill for shingles now. You must be treated. You can give them to others if they are not scabbed over. There is also some ointment your doctor can order for the pain or itching. I have used a TENS machine on my grandmother when she had them just do not put the electrodes over the sores. The TENS machine can help with the pain. Please go see your doctor. Shingles is the adult form of chicken pox.
