I had a big problem with flatulence. Gas-X,Beano, etc. did not help. My doc suggested I might have developed lactose intolerance. Diagnosis: eliminate all dairy products for a week. Voila! that was it. I now take Lactaid (or generic lastase tablet) with first bite of any dairy. Instead of milk, I drink soy milk and actually prefer it, especially the vanilla.
