Your dauhter probably suffered an attack of autoimmune thyroiditis (as shown by marked increase in thyroid antibodies) and such cases pass through a temporary phase of hypothyroidism, which often responds well to small doses of thyroxine. A normal TSH level does not rule out hypothyroidism as some persons exhibit the phenomenon of clinical-biochemical dyscorrelation.
