I have been on Coumadin for the past 3 years also, and also had dental surgery done during that time. You should check with your physician as to whether or not you need to be off coumadin for a few days before dental surgery, and your dentist and oral surgeon should be aware of the fact that you are taking coumadin. You should have a Pro-time taken less then 24 hours before having surgery done.
