I am a medical secretary and I used to work for a specialist in fainting - the medical term for this is syncope. My suggestion would be to call your nearest academic medical center - meaning a hospital connected with a medical school. Ask the information department if they have a specialist in syncope. From my work with this doctor I remember that the diagnosis is usually confirmed with a test called a tilt table test. Also I recall that sometimes fainting is the result of psychological trauma. There are other causes as well such as low blood pressure. Try to find a physician with an interest in syncope as he or she will know the most about this disorder.
