I have a 6 year old who just had her tonsils and adenoids removed. She also had ear tubes put in during the same surgery. She had this done four days ago. It's an awful surgery for kids to go through. She has a lot of throat pain and pain behind her ear, all of which is normal. She is running a 102 fever, which they are not concerned about. Eating is difficult for them. She was also taking Zyrtec. After surgery, there was some congestion, which caused a cough. The coughing really hurt her throat. Basically, it is not a fun surgery!
