I've got the stones..... spent a week in hospital as a bit of grit decided to go "walk about" and inflamed the liver and pancreas before deciding to abandon ship. They all said I needed to remove the bladder, etc. I did not! That was over a year and a half ago and I have not had any more attacks. My advice to you is to avoid surgery if at all possible... postpone it until they develop nano technology to take care of that without serious invasive removal surgery. Why? You can guess why. Andy Warhol died on the table when he had his removed. If a rich famous guy like that can lose, what chance do we mere mortals have? Think of all the permanent side effects possible. WEigh up the consequences, get more than 3 "2nd opinions" and procrastinate for as long as possible. Remember, doing nothing is usually better than going to the doctor. Just look at the stats if you doubt that!
