Ignacio, NACHO, is a 5 year old boy, he was born with Down Syndrome and developed West Syndrome in his second month. This is not very common and it is very hard to find information on this two syndromes association. He has absences , like he were autist, and though he has begun walking about 2 years ago, he has problems with his muscles tonification and this absences or disconnections he has from the outside world can turn even deeper.I am a very old friend of NACHO´S family, and I see the all the anxieties and fears this is provoking, so I would like to know if there is some info available on this, about treatments and anything that could be done to help him comunicate and to make him stronger. He can stay for hours laying like an ameba on a table, couch or even the floor, so we must find a way to make him come out. Awaiting for a reply Mercedes de Biedma
