Thyroid problems and diabetes go together as both are immune system diseases. My daughter has been diabetic 20 years and hypo throid 18 yrs. Your readings are dangerously high, but the synthroid med will fix it pretty easily. Make sure you get on some from your dr. I also have hypothyroid from a surgery that was supposed to leave enough to care for me but didn't work. I would be glad to share info with you. Clipper
