Cara, I was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma in a fybroid which was discovered when I had a hysterectomy. My first CT scan showed that I was free of any cancer but I did do chemo for 6 months (once every 3 weeks)as a precautionary treatment. I am scheduled for another CT scan scheduled at the end of this month. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will be clean also. The chemo I took was Adriamycin which is a very aggressive chemo...I lost all of my hair right away...had nausea for a few days after each treatment but on the whole got through it quite well. I am 49 years old and was in pretty good health going into the chemo. The whole treatment was tolerable and not as bad as I thought it would be. Of course I had bad days, emotionally drained but I would do it again if I have too. I hope this helps and I wish you good luck. Remember attitude is EVERYTHING! Gwen
