No you can't get the flu from the flu vaccine, but you can still pick up things particularly if you are like me, I had the flu jab in October now I have a chest infection, but most years I go even cold free. This years Jab didn't cover the A strain of the Flu which is virulent in Europe at the moment, that is a pity cos we can still pick it up if we are unfortunate enough. I think they used to say one in a thousand get a reaction to the shot, but I got nothing more than a swollen arm at the site of the injection. Normally however they only advise the flu injection for the elderly ( with respect) and those of us who suffer chronic lung problems, really those of us who the flu could seriously affect. J
