With hemochromatosis the iron in the body is not being absorbed ...so they have access amounts in their blood..Really their is not a cure but they might get healthy by very simply donating blood...not a a lot but every once in awhile.The blood that is drawn will obviously lower the amount of iron in the body, causing pretty much a healthier person.! I read this in a book called survival of the sickest...wonderful read!
