I've never had the chicken pox...until now. My 6 year old had the vaccine but got them anyways, albiet a mild case. 17 days later, after a very mild sore throat and headache, I now have chicken pox spots. I've had the spots for 3 days now and they have been slowly multiplying. I probably only have about 3 or 4 dozen marks at the most. Some are quite itchy, most are small and harmless. I am winning the fight against scratching them, for now. I do still have a sore throat, not a bad one, but enough to make it known when I swallow. No other symptoms exist although I wouldn't mind a loss of apetite for a few days :) My questions are this: Since I am now getting my spots, am I basically out of the woods for developing the serious adult complications? Since I have so few spots in 3 days, can I expect more or am I one of the fortunate ones that got off extremely easy? Since my daughter had a mild case with a low viral-load, perhaps I will also have a mild case? I got some Aveeno Oatmeal Bath stuff to help ease the itch, anything I can do to help keep the spots away or from getting much worse? Any help with these questions of other advice is greatly appreciated. Scott
