Hi: I'm sorry to hear you have PMR. I was diagnosed 15 months ago and they told me that it will take up to 2 years to settle down. I started off with 6 Prednizone pills and am now down to 1 a day. I can on occassion cut the 1 in half but 1 seems to keep me at peace. I like yourself have aches and fatigue but I have good days and bad days. I am not sure if the following is something you might like to try. I have a bad heart and I saw a Naturalpath who put me on a process called Chelation. It is like draino for your blood stream. I have been on it for 1 month and I cannot believe how it has also helped my PMR. Since the second week on the pills, I have noticed a great surge in energy and not nearly as tired. I don't know what is making me feel so well but I think it might be the Chelation. Just a suggestion, that you might want to see a Naturalpath for advise on this process.
