I experienced patchy bald spots off and on over a period of about 2 to 3 years. It moves in cycles, due to stress, and improper diet. First start to boost immune system with vitamins and echinacea. find some way to lower stress levels...good luck on that one! yes, Dr.'s only tell you about cortizone shots under the scalp..I did NOT do this...hair did grow back, shock white at first, then slowly filled in. This type of aleopecia is different from total aleopecia hair loss. there is lots of info on aleopecia online...England is doing the best research on immune system and proper diet.
