I also have just received this link. I have been diagnosed with cervical dystonia, like Gail, since 1992. The best advice I received before being diagnosed was to get the best neurologist that I could find,no matter how far I had to travel. Most of us are so overwhelmed when asking for help, that we forget to state where we live. Dystonia is neurolical and affects the muscles. Many doctors think that it is just muscular. One friend who has generalized dystonia was just told by a neurologist that her MRI showed nothing. Therefore, there is nothing wrong with her and she should go for a healing! Please do not get discouraged but DO state where you are from if you have not yet located a doctor that is bery familiar with dystonia.
