i believe autism is genetic but is triggered by something. i believe thimerosol is what has caused the recent rise in autim. thimerosol is a mercury based preservative used in childhood vaccinations. it has been pulled out of them in 1999 due to the fda saying it may have something to do with the alarming autism rise in children. my son is a3 year old autistic boy .i also have a 4 year old autistic nephew there has never been previous autism in my family. ibelieve there will be a decline in autism now (once all of these vaccinaions are gone) ihope i'm right for the rest of the children. i'm sad they didn't stop these vaccines earlier for our children. if interested check out on internet search mercury poisoning then click on oral chelation. there is more info on that site.
