Marti; like your brother I had osteomyelitis in my lower leg since July 1999. Mine is more or less under control for now but it took many hours in a hyperbaric chamber and over a dozon radical surgerys to remove the infective bone. The only cure that I know or have ever heard of was removal of the infected bone which is not an option with your brother case.
