                        Actually, the thing which helped me the most was skiing!!  A ski boot holds your foot in the position which stretches those muscles that are needed to relieve the plantar fasciitis pain.  After that ski trip, I became fastidious about my stretching exercises.  I'm playing tennis again.  Stretch, stretch, stretch -- many times a day, and you will be rewarded many times over.
