I'm waiting to hear from SSD regarding my condition with IC. I have experienced this problem for 9 years. I was fortunate to find a urologist that helped me with differant medications. Right now I do DMSO treatments when I have a flare up. I also cath. myself very often during the day to obtain residual that is left in the bladder. I take 20mg.'s of Prozac daily and Xanax when needed for excruiciating discomfort-.50mg.'s every 6 hrs. if necessary. You sound desperate as I was. They will not only help you with solutions for this overwhelming problem but will help you to learn how to apply for disabillity. They even wrote a cover letter for me to send along with other forms that had to be filled out for SSD. This you will get informed about when you make the contact with them. It is a wonderful organization, who are greatly concerned about you. They give you alot of alternatives. They are and still are my lifesaver. Thank God someone took the time to care.
