i was dx'd with fms and cfs in 1997, mine too started in my neck, in denial and on pain meds didnt feel much until 1998, thats when it got worse. i now have pain all over, burning, prickling, swelling, seems to be getting worse as time goes on? they say it's not degenerative but i dont know? as far as my feet for the past month now everyday all day they burn and ache, both of them.get swollen. it hurts to walk, almost imposible, and when i do the pain generates up my thighs to my lower back which is where ive been told i have artheritis. i do take a bath to aleviate some of the pain for a while, and it works. hope this helps.
