RE: Different stages of Narcolepsy. My husband was diagnosed with narcolepy 25 years ago. He started falling asleep at the wheel, at the dinner table with a bite of food on its way to mouth, sittting and talking with someone or standing up and talking. We were fortunate to get to know a psychiatrist who studied and researched the subject for many years. I started the first self-help support group in my area.
