I have been diagnosed with a ruptured disk in my neck and have been referred to a neurosurgeon. I am scared as this is the second ruptured disk I have had, the first being in my lower back six years ago. This one ended in surgery. My primary care physician scared me to death telling me that I could permanently damage my spinal cord and be paralized if I wasn't careful.
