Denise
Hi I am 41 years old and have been dealing with this problem since I was 16 years old. Sometimes there are creams they use, sometimes they just watch it, or to a coloscopy whicu involves removing some or all of the suspious area and studing it further. This is not a fun procudure but it is far from being a mojor procudure and is done in the Drs. office. A leap procudureor a cone biopsy is a little more in depth but the same idea they just takemore and deeper. Dysplasia has many stages and is usually something that can be taken care of. For me it comes back every couple of years. Because I have problems bleeding and my history they don't bother me to mcuh but I see the Dr often when I do have a flare up and she is very good. You are young and the chances of this being very serious is not really very high. If it is and they caught it early you will have options on what to do. I have worked in the medical field for many years and that is my general opinion. Everyone is different though. I hope this helped you abit. Good luck I would like to know who things went with you.
