I also have menieres disease. I have had it since I was 17 years old, I am now 50. It's very frustrating at times. Most people haven't even heard of menieres. I no longer have the dizzyness that comes with meniere's because of two operations that I have had. But I have total loss of my hearing in one ear. I found some articles on meniere's at the Detroit Free Press site a couple of years ago. I'll try to locate if your interested.
