Several months ago I under went tests and was told I have a MILD form of MVP. I continue to have chest pains, shortness of breath and I tire so easily. I always used to stay pretty active but find even walking through a mall tires me so quickly that my feet start to drag. I continue to tell my doctor but I truly feel he brushes it off and states it is something I just have to learn to live with. I am a 41 year old female. I had a complete hysterectomy twelve years ago. I currently take Premarin (1.25mg), Atenolol (.50 mg) and Prilosec (20 mg). I also take one multi-vitamin and calcium tablets. Is it truly normal for me to be feeling this way? I have also been provided information about a lawsuit due to my use of diet drugs (Phen-Fen) several years ago which I understand may have caused the MVP. I would appreciate any information on how to cope with MVP and how do I know when it has gotten worse enough for me to seek additional help!
