I have had Crohn's for over 30 years and have been diagnosed only 2 years ago. Chron's disease is a tough problem because it has to do with a bacteria imbalance in the digestive tract. There is no cure because there are over 400 different bacterias in the digestive tract and the imbalance could be anywhere. My suggestion to you would be to cut out some foods and observe the results. The leading suspects are carbohydrates. Flour, sugar, potatoes, rice, sometimes milk, yeast. In my case,I can have bread but not unyeasted flour (gravy, baking powder biscuts etc.) I have oatmeal in the morning and for lunch I have yogurt, a banana and an apple. I have a larger supper avoiding all of the above. I just found out I can now have potatoes without problems. Before going to bed I have some more yogurt. I take multivitamins and generic fibercon morning and after supper. I also take fish oil pills or cod liver oil. If you eat salads, use oil and vinegar for your dressing.
