A friend of mine who also was diagnosed with Graves Disease and who was treated with radioactive iodine as was I, just told me that she along with 2 other people also taking Synthroid were suffering from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. They all got off Synthroid and went on Cytomel. Within a few months up to a year, their symptoms of CTS disappeared. My friend even went back to Synthroid to see what would happen. Within a year, her symptoms came back. Her doctor put her back on cytomel and now shes alright again. As of late, not only myself but my wife whose on synthroid as well have been experiencing one of my friends other symptoms.Our circulation is easily cut off in parts of our body where we lie down, such as in our arms hands and shoulders.I suffer from insomnia because of it. Im gonna do research and present what I learn to my doctor. If any have any helpful information , I would appreciate it. Thanks. I hope Mr. Raynor has found something helpful as well. Its been a while since he wrote this. I fear our symptoms may someday come to include CTS. Id like to nip it in the bud if theres something to this.
