Please tell me if I've been taken for a ride: In December of 1999 I went to my dentist because a filling in my tooth had broken down. Just a bit of the filling had broken and come out. There was no pain, but I could feel where the chip was with my tongue. The dentist, (one of many in a large group) checked me over and said "No new cavities, you can go home." I said "shouldn't you fix the broken filling?" He said "no". Two months later the corner of my tooth had cracked. Back I went, this time I spoke with another dentist I had never met. He said I needed a crown. After the crown which was done in 1/99, the tooth continued to be sensitive to cold and hot. I continually went back and complained. Now I'm in pain, and they want to do a root canal. What gives? (Other than me giving away my money.)
