Hi Elizabeth, Hang in there girl. It is hard having dystonia, but it helps when you know what it is. Before I got a diagnosed I was told everything from my husband was abusing me, it was allin my head, I was doing it to impress the neuro, etc. Then told it wasn't Parkinsons, then that it was & now, finally that it isn't any of the above, but kinesogenic dystonia w/ dystonic tremors. I have been able to get my life back with acupuncture, botox shots & a loving service dog to help me. The dystonia web site has also been a great help along with healthlink. Good luck to you.
