Hi, I have experienced shortness of breath for many years. Sometimes due to chronic bronchitis, which I was told was due to allergies. I received shots for a year or so, moved and did not go back for several years. Recently, I was tested by a doctor in another state, he says NO allergies. I took the asthma test and am awaiting results. The doctor does not accept the Fibromyalgia connection to the shortness of breath and tightness in my chest. I KNOW it is not anxiety. Long story, indepth reasons, but I feel it is physical. I have undergone tests which indicate "metabolic acidosis" is acurring under the lightest of physical exersion. What does all that mean? I do not know. I just know I feel as if I am trying to breath through a down pillow. Does anyone feel the same way?
