My husband has Charcot Marie Tooth Disease. It is a peripheral nerve disease that damages nerves and causes muscular atrophy. He is in his late 30's and it seems to be progressing fairly quickly. He currently wears AFO braces on both legs, but he has had problems recently with his knees "giving out", which causes him to fall, quite frequently. He has also been diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both wrists, which he will have surgery on in the next few weeks. I would like any information that anyone has on either of these disorders. Thank you for your help.
